Hee got this from Ping and it still perplexed me that there's actually some rich ass in this world who is so freaking rich and "boliao" to go "diamondrize" his Merz Benz and make it pretty ugly actually.. Lolz

Yes its Prince Waleed from Saudi Arabia, who happen to be ranked by Forbes as the 19th richest person in the world and the second richest man in royalty next to the Sultan of Brunei (and yes another oil-rich country)... And yes this IS his 38th car and you gotta pay $1000 to touch it.. O well, how will I know wat these super rich ppl are thinking? Who am I who is worth nt even $10,000 in net worth to comment?? ROFL!!

Actually if you think about it, a diamond coated car is pretty cheap for US$4.8 million isnt it? He sld have used over thousands of diamond.. And the people who is sticking the diamonds on must have went "cock-eye" after that.. Lolz what with the shine and handiwork to stick such small stuff so closely to each other... Take a closer look...

Samsung jus launched their new phone called Samsung OMNIA.. I kinda like it.. Hee i am a samsung fan nowadays.. I think they are one of the few co that focus on design.. And I am a look-at-design-and-nt-quality kinda person.. Lol call me superficial! *bleahz*

I haven seen the real thing but it looks super small!!! And its a touch screen.. Haha after Iphone, everyone seems to be coming out with touch screen.. (^-^)

No I am nt changing my phone.. Yet... I still like my small and sleek F210..

I've been thinking abt bloggin for awhile now but was lazy to go upload my tons of pictures (from my birthdays, Penang, Fluffy, etc)... I'll get ard to it some day.. Ping always complain that Jieyin and me doesnt update our blog tat often.. Haha which is true, compared to the frequency she goes to her nutang website.. =P

Anyway, I've been hearing ALOT abt the financial mkts these days.. Wat with the subprime, banks losses and retrenchment.. Stock prices heading south and Oil price going north.. The whole mkt seems to be in a jittery mood and EVERYONE i've met who remotely has knowledge of wat recession is, are all talking about it.. Lolz, Benjamin even jokingly told Sharon and myself that this will be the first recession we go thru in our workin life.. I guess the '97 Asian crisis must be pretty bad and he still has strong reminiscence of it... O well, we'll see how things goes.. FYI though, some home news, inflation in Sing is supposedly 6% now and from 7 July, the government is raising abt half of the ERP prices (yet again!!!) by 50 cents - 2 bucks, of course new gantries are gonna be set-up too...

Recently in Straits Times, I just read an article tat says inflation is eroding the real gain in wages/pay.. According to MOM, even though the raise in wages, of close to 11%, is the highest in almost a decade, the inflation rate of 6.6% in our first quarter is definitely eating into the real gain!!! How to live in Singapore, you tell me??!!

Penang Trip (^-^)

Some of you may already know that my company trip this year is to Penang.. Lolz you must be thinking how come SGX is going to such nearby country, since historically we have been going to Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh.. But o well, ask the management.. Its an indicator that I sldnt pin too much hope on my bonus this year.. ROFL!

Anyway my dearest is coming with me this year.. =P

We are going one day earlier than the other SGX staff to help with this Corporate Social Responsibility, in short, volunteering work!! Lolz yepz you read correctly.. VOLUNTEERING WORK! *grins* Hey hey, don't you dare shake your head at me, I like to do such things okay.. My ECA is sch is Leo Club after all.. And I have visited tons of old folks home and was generally quite well-liked.. I don't built bad karma by being mean to old ppl and young kids.. *bleahz*

Anyway.. This school we are going to help in Penang is called the "Sekolah Kanak-Kanak Terencat Akal" (which translate to "Mentally Handicapped Children's School"). Mind you, they are not like the MINDS in Singapore, since it is called "Mentally Handicapped". Malaysia, being our poorer neighbour, does not provide their kids with the luxury that Singapore provide our "mentally incapable" children. The school, started in 1968, currently holds close to 90 kids ranging from age 3-18 providing them with education and training. The 90 kids comes with a range of handicap (mentally or physically), autism, low IQ (MINDS) and so on.. They do not receive specialise training and those autism kid might jus remain autistic for life.. But oh well, this is the only school around Penang that could allow the kids to remotely have some form of education..

What myself, Edward and some other SGX colleagues is going to do for them in our 1 and a half days there is to paint 3 walls of wall murals and plant some trees.. The in-charge of this program has gone there mths ago and hired a designer to re-construct some of their basic amenities. So the only thing left for us to do is paint, plant and have fun with the kids *smilez*

It is suppose to beautify the sch a lil and you see the dots on it? Its removable and reusable so it can be an interactive wall where the kids and teachers can use during classes for math or "under the sea, naming the fish" lesson.. *winkz*

Then the second day, we are bringin 40 mentally and physically capable kids out for a lil excursion, and the 50 or so kids who are either physicall or mentally incapable or nt toilet-train, we will have another party in school, where we have learned balloon sculpting before-hand to try to entertain.. Lolz

Hee guess the animals or things.. All done by me! =P

Yepz all simple sculpting.. I just hope I can remember all the steps and not burst any balloons and frighten the kids!! Lolz!

I know that this 1 and a half days is nt going to help much but at least I hope we can brighten the kids day just a lil.. (^-^)

Today's my 23rd birthday, and here I am blogging... Lolz nope its nt tat I am so mean (which most of u probably think I am) or smth that nobody wants to bother abt my bday, its just tat my celebrations are spread thruout the wk and today was reserve for my family.. I jus had dinner with my mumsy, sista and mumsy's bf, so here I am.. Haha..

Okie I will talk about my other celebrations another day.. Today I wanna talk abt my dearest.. I dun care if any of you gonna end-up puking or stuff, its my birthday and you just gotta tolerate it.. Bleahz...

On 26th May (which is yst) I left for work from my dearest place and he said that he will come pick me up after work for the movie "indiana jones", sponsored by SGX... I then replied don't have to as I think my co has catered some buses for this movie.. And he gave me a smirk, which i put it at the back of my mind and didnt have a second tot..

Come 2pm, my receptionist keep calling and in view that I was in a meeting, I didnt pick it up.. At 240, Brenna told me I have flowers at the reception and told me to go pick it up.. Instantly recognising it comes frm my prince and its for my birthday, I went down to #19 happily... Upon reaching the reception, there was a crowd of woman frm other dept (some of which I know, and some I don't) ard the reception table and as if in a movie, all of them turn to me at the same time with this bright silly grin plastered to their face... And they started sayin in unison (almost in unison anyway) "Lindy I'm so happy for you!".. I was like WHAT??! Then i saw the bouquet.. It was HUMONGOUS!!! Rofl with this teddy bear and stuffs tied to it.. You can imagine how embarrass and of course exhilarated I was... *blush*

Okie lets continue, so hugging and lugging the flowers up to my floor at #21, I went to my desk straight.. And Benjamin and other colleagues were all crowding ard my desk having some decent discussion.. The moment they see me with the flowers, tv enactment started AGAIN.. They turned and look at me making it super difficult for me to reach my desk.. And they all started talking, guessin, congratulating me at the same time.. Lolz.. Y is there a need to congratulate anyway?? Its nt wedding eh.. LOLZ!! Sharon and Brenna also started whipping out their hp and snapping the flowers, saying that they wanna send to their respective bfs and tell them what they sld do.. Haha...

Sin Huat Seafood - A Scam!!

Ever heard of this famous Geylang Crab Bee Hoon?? My boss has been talking about this place for the longest time.. He claims that (a clear Phua Chu Kang Rip-off) it is the best in Singapore, JB, and some say Batam.. He also admits that there is some attitude problem with the staff there but the food is with attitude too..

Let me tell you.. THE FOOD HAS NO ATTITUTE AT ALL - period! And yes, the staff there has the f**king worse attitude you can ever encounter and the price there is atrociously HIGH!!

Okie let me begin with the story of how we ended up there and how I get the experience of my lifetime..

One evening, coz Benjamin and Elena won this bet we had on some EGM decision, we decided to go have a nice dinner (lolz of course spending their winning $$).. And since Benjamin has been talking abt this crab bee hoon for so long, claiming that it beats the AMK one flat down, we all finally went there.. Before going, we had this knowledge that once Benjamin went there with another bunch of colleagues and knowing that the wait is super long, one of them being on leave, decided to go order first.. However, the rude cook and waitress REFUSE to let her order giving the excuse that all of them are not there yet, even though the place was nowhere near pack *argghh*..

Still.. We decided to go there..

I was one of the later batch to go.. Benjamin and another 4 colleagues went ahead first to order @ 630pm.. Upon reaching at 7pm, we heard that Benjamin tried to order 3 crabs but the cook (who is the only person taking order) REFUSE to let Benjamin order 3 crabs and said that if he doesnt order other dishes, he will cut his order down to 1 crab.. Yes he THREATEN us!! Fine, so Benjamin ordered veg, prawn and scallop.. After sitting down, this auntie came and take our orders for drinks.. And my colleague wanted hot barley and this woman replied "Huh hot barley?? Don't have.. We only got cold one.. Take it or leave it!!".. Yes this is the attitude we get THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE DINNER!!!! And if this is not bad enough.. Do you know how long we waited for the first dish, which is veg btw, to come?? 2 bloody hours!!! Our first dish only came at 8+pm.. And, the food DID NOT come one after another.. Its serve this way: Veg came, wait 20 mins, scallop and prawn came, wait an hr, crab bee hoon finale.. It took us 4 FREAKING HOURS to complete ONE MEAL lar!! Wedding dinner also not so long!! And the attitude of the ppl there jus went tumblin down the hill!!

One example, when the first dish painstakingly came, we wanted to eat it with rice.. And since there is more than 10 of us, of course we ask for 10 bowls of rice lar.. The bloody auntie gave us the utmost startled look and started muttering on y we eat so much =.='' WTH! Anyway I end up eating plain rice coz it took forever for it and the other dishes to come.. I was close to fainting from hunger.. Wat choice did I have except plain rice???

And so the dinner went on and its time to settle the bill.. The freaking ppl there took forever to calculate the bill too!!! We were all trying to coerce Benjamin to leave with us and forget about paying.. But he wont hear of it, and he still tried to negotiate with this other waitress asking them to charge us cheaper.. The waitress replied (in chinese): "I never cheat you already very good, you still ask for discount!" Crazy grumpy cantankerous bitch!!!

Okie now it becomes exciting.. Despite all the bad service, hrs and bad food we had to suffer... Guess how much the bill came up to?? We went round making guesses and my guess was S$500 (which is already jacked up becoz Benjamin said that place is even more expensive than a 5-star hotel).. Remember we only had Veg, Prawn, Scallop and a stupid Crab Bee Hoon??? = 4 dishes only for 12 ppl...

FREAKING 580 BUCKS!!!!!

The crab alone, which is the only dish I took pic of since IT IS THE ONLY THING I WAITED MORE THAN 3 FREAKING HOURS WAITING FOR IN MY ENTIRE LIFE, is 200 bucks!!! (70 bucks PER CRAB!!!)

Okie lets continue.. The scallop is 100 bucks and the prawns cost 190 bucks.. The rest of the stuff (rice, drinks and veg) adds up to abt another 100 bucks..

This is CRAZY!! I tell you..

This restaurant is called Sin Huat Seafood and its in Geylang Lorong 35.. It looks like some rundown coffee shop and it doesnt even fix its lighting (which is mostly down already)..

If you wanna feel this experience and be a carrot at the same time.. Be my guest~~

This is my colleague's kid who was entertaining me thruout the dinner and is the only reason y I am nt hurling cusses and swearing at all the staff there.. Luckily his mother had foresight to da bao his dinner along, if nt he most prob wld have died of hunger..

Culture - The Boring Subject ^^''

I assure you, culture is a super dry topic..

I am overloaded with this culture thing.. Ever since my second last module, Cross-Cultural Management, there isn't one module that is NOT talking about culture..

I know that culture is part and parcel of our life.. But is there really a necessity to repeat it THREE times?? How many times do I have to read about Hofstede anyway?? *ponders*

Okie anyways, that's not really what I wanna talk about.. I just wanted to say, according to Hofstede, typical Asian (and that includes Singaporeans) are considered a collectivist.. Which means, we tend to do group thinking and will usually not try to stand out.. In layman term, we are those that we do whatever others tells us to do.. Which in some sense, its kinda true.. How often do you see ppl standing up for themselves?? And if you do stand up for yourself, more often than not, you will get the most surprise look on the other party's face.. Asian's rule of thumb is: AVOID CONFLICT AT ALL COST!! =.='' Which is pretty dumb isn't it??

Of course I am talking in a general sense.. I'm sure there are outspoken ppl out there even though they grew up in this high context society.. Thus, all this boils down to personality...

Okie i'm getting to the crux of my entry..

I just did this personality test called Jung's typology, a supposedly famous psychiatrist.. My latest Hong Konger lecturer made us do it on the first day of class.. Which I am willing to admit I did it happily.. I have always like these personality thingy... Hee.. It kinda test 4 aspects of your personality (ie, whether you are an introvert or extrovert, are you sensing or intuitive, thinking or feeling, and lastly judging or preceiving).. My result was extrovert intuitive feeling perceiving (ENFP)..

*on a side note: My dearest got ENFP too!! This is so funny coz I was just telling Jieyin that the possibility of 2 people getting the same combination is not high since there are like 4 alphabeths and 16 different combination.. Lolz!

I am going to Batam in 9 hrs time!! Lolz.. We (Ping, Jieyin, myself plus one of Ping's friend, Fad) decided that we had enough stress from juggling both work and studies, and decided its high time we pamper ourselves a lil.. Even if that means that we gotta rush for our assignment due on Monday like hell beforehand (which is like NOW) or giving up a lil beauty rest for a lil more quality time together watchin dvd in Holiday Inn Batam knowing that we will spend the next Mon-Fri rushin frm work to class, WE STILL DON'T MIND!! Yes this is the amt of stress we are all suffering from!

And Yes!! My lessons/assignments here again, despite the fact that my exam JUST past last Saturday.. A lil digress, I am pretty disappointed in my performance for my Managing Change exam.. I really din have time to finish!! I wrote 9pgs for 4 questions.. And that was at breakin hand speed with no pause in between.. I dont even dare to go to the ladies despite my desperate need to relieve myself.. However, at the end of the exam, I heard this fellow classmate saying she wrote 16 PAGES!!! Wth~

Okie back to stress level.. I just had a retreat today with my department in Pan Pac.. The facilitator was pretty good.. I'll talk more about this another time.. I wanted to just mention that he made us did this small stress level test and ask us if we have experience any of this in the past week/mth or so:

1) Anxiety
2) Insomnia (be it having difficulty falling aslp or waking up in the middle of the night)
3) Appetite Change
4) Headache
5) Anger
6) Losing Focus
7) Can't Concentrate
8) Muscle Tightness
9) Lower Back Pain
10) Overdose of Alcohol/Cigarette

If you score 5 or above, you are considered highly stress and need serious IMMEDIATE attention to your own body and mental health.. Lol i scored a whooping 7 pts!! =P I experienced all pt 1-7 in the last week.. Batam sld help i hope.. At least I know I am nt going bonkers yet and I deem myself as someone who can manage stress pretty well..

Anyway how to not have stress when the assignments/exams/workload comes non-stop and is eating straight into my slping time? O well...

SGX has decided that it has too much $$ to spend and wants to give each employees a gift.. Therefore the man will get 2 ties while the ladies will get a shawl.. Yes, you got it right.. They have attempted to place "Bull and Bear" on the shawl.. Wanna take a look at how it "nice" it is?? Here you go...

The shawl starts and end with the "bull and bear" being pretty scattered (to represent opposite forces i guess lolz)..

Then as it gets to the middle, it becomes increasingly cluttered... (energy of growth??)

When you flip the shawl over, you get this colour.. I dunno y after photographin it, it looks like this.. The actual colour is a darker colour (a lil like the indian sari kinda colour).. I tried many times and this is the best i cld get, the first picture actually turned blue.. Haha..

Yepz that dearestsss...Lolz comprising of my human dearest, Edward and my two lil doggies, Scruffy and Fluffy!!

All 3 of them are born on the 24th March!!! (^-^)

And nope I DID NOT purposely tie my dogs birthday together with Ed.. It jus so happen that when we got the doggies, we took their injection card to count back when their birthday is suppose to be and it happened to be 24th March!!! *smilez*

We had our celebration on the sat (22/3) where we invited a few friends plus my mum, her bf and my sis over to Ed's place for steamboat.. Hee and my lil babies were dressed for the occasion...

I've had my fill of irresponsible people yesterday.. Actually to be specific, I only encountered one directly and the other one is provided by Ping... But stilll, it was enuff to make me mad like hell...

I always considered myself as a nice project mate.. I mean I have never really blow up on anyone before nor strike off a person's name from the project list.. Maybe i've been lucky (according to Ping) to have met nice project mates and never had to encounter darn free-loaders.. Or maybe not... Coz my requirement from project mates (even if that means i have to do extra parts and edit ppl's part like nobody's business) is pretty simple:

Rule No 1: Try your best, be it your project part or submission of deadline
Rule No 2: If you cant submit by the deadline, at least let us know and give us a gauge on when we will be expecting your part in

And that's it... Very difficult is it?? I don't even care if you give me crap, as in of course "put-in effort crap", I jus want responsible people... I know everyone has their limitation and some people's command of language is just so atrocious, they cant help it.. But at least let us know you've tried and is worth the group marks you gonna get right?? Tell me I am not demanding...

Lo and behold, after yrs and yrs of project churning, I met one of the most irresponsible project mate EVER!.. Before I go on, I know there are ppl who jus simply don't care and wont even turn up for project meeting and stuff... BUT if i ever meet this kinda ppl and I know they dont care, neither will I... I will jus submit without his/her name... Who cares what they think? They fail also not my business...

But this one... HAIZ.. I don't even know wats his thinking.. So here's how the story goes:

After weeks and weeks of rushing for all kind of things, including assignments, work, classes and my dearest prezzie (which i am happy to do btw)... I am simply pooped out.. Physically and mentally.. Of course I am not the only one in this boat.. Joining myself is Yan Ping and Jieyin... Complaining about it is not going to help any of us so we have no choice but to complete all the stuff since that stupid paper we gonna get out of it is deem SO IMPORTANT in the working society...

Out of the tons of things we have to do, there is this Cross-Cultural Management project which in my team, beside Jieyin and Ping is this other girl called Ng Qi and this other guy called Marcus.. Wanna guess who's the f-up one?? Yepz u got it right.. It IS this other guy called Marcus.... Now, 4 girls and 1 guy... Does that give the only guy enuff reason to make our life even more miserable than it already is??? Sad to say, sorry Marcus, that's the priviledge that come ONLY when you are a gorgeous FEMALE in an all-male group.. And you are neither gorgeous nor a female... =.=''

Let's continue... So there's this project and all five of us has various parts to do.. And when come submission time, we were all late coz the previous day we were rushing another project.. So fine.. We tried.. But when the day past and Ping, the editor, tried to get us to submit our parts, Marcus remain missing.. Even when we decide to meet that Sat (which is the last sat already coz we were suppose to pass it up that Mon, 31 Mar), he remain missing... After tons of speculation from our end, he FINALLY send in his part of the project, which suspiciously looks like he copied from somewhere and his charts has no citation..

Then Sat came and we were still speculating if his gonna turn up.. Called him once, din pick up.. Msg him, din reply.. Finally, Jieyin got thru and he said his on his way.. So fine, we waited and waited.... Hrs past and still no sign of him.. Called him again and again, din pick up... Ng Qi was still wondering maybe he walked from Malaysia!! When in fact he is suppose to come from Dhoby Ghaut to Raffles Place.. 2 stops take hrs??? *sacasm oozing out*

When he FINALLY turned up... We had our discussion and he remained quiet, as if smth got stuck in his throat, unless Ping asked him a direct question which he always give a noncommittal ans.. And instead of reading the project parts, he was busy copying my presentation slides coz he didnt turn up for classes... In the end we decided to ask him to do the abstract and conclusion (since this is the only 2 parts that will not affect the progress of the project), he still dare to say "Huh u trust my english ah?".. And all of this only got me mildly mad okay... He has broken my rules when he became uncontactable and missed the deadline but still I did not blow up... Not at him anyway...

Now let me give you a clearer picture:

1) Our assignment due date is Monday, 31 Mar
2) We met on Saturday, 29 Mar for the project discussion till about 4pm

Which means we only have Sat after 4pm till Sunday to rush our final parts out and send to Yan Ping for editing and lastly printout since Monday, 31 Mar is a working day and there's nothing much we can do abt it...

Okay so what did Marcus do that caused my full-fledge anger??

Right!! He f**king only send his parts in on Monday despite promising Ping that he WILL get it out by Sunday.. Guess what time he send in his parts? Bloody one at 10am and the other one at 12pm lar! As if that is not enough, he gave us TOTAL CRAP!! I mean seriously, who in the right mind will give summary that is fucking copied and paste from the other parts of the report??? COPIED AND PASTE okay!!! Word for word... He went to do a 3-page crappy summary with all the parts copied from the introductory para of all the various points we have done in the report... "Marcus, if I need you to do such a thing, I might as well go get a primary sch kid... Oh actually i think a primary sch kid like my sister will have more sense than you!! As for the abstract, I specifically said 500 words and you gave a 200 plus words report that dubiously look like its copied from Ping's introduction.. Superb!" We all think his trying to placate us by sending some things even if its atrocious stuff.. Doesnt he think that we have the right to take him out of the project??

Therefore, because of this.. Jieyin, Yan Ping and myself had to struggle to RE-DO his parts... I meant re-do okay.. Not even edit.. His report was so crappy, it actually cost us lesser effort to re-do than edit... =.=''

FYI, Yan Ping was doing the editing of the whole report, Jieyin was re-doing the abstract and I was doing the summary.. I took from the time we realised he sent in the conclusion at about 1pm till 6pm to do a sensible conclusion during working hours!! and Monday is usually my most busy working day!! I really don't understand how come he has more than 30 hrs and he cannot produce something better than copy and paste...

So all 3 of us end up rushing to do Marcus part, do editing, do content page, do layout, do printing and binding and left the office at 9pm.. Ping left later coz after she finished rushing the project, she still got work to do... Yesterday my brain was so fried, I really didnt think it could work anymore.... Even when my dearest called me last night to ask me why I am still in the office, I was too tired to repeat the whole agitating story to him...

Yes if we had more time for the project, I probably wont be this mad... We will jus throw it back at him so many times, he either remove himself from the team or he give us some decent stuff.. But fact is there is no time and all three of us is bloody pissed at him...

As if one Marcus is not enough, Ping jus told us yst that one of her dealer went for a course and has some homework to do.. And he went back to the office to bug Ping to do his econs homework for him.. Arsehole!

I feel the urge to blog today as I have no mood to do anything else... This few days I've been chartering myself (lol of course with the help of our SMRT services) between home, work and sch.. I tell you, I am just damn tired... Worse of all, I feel old..... Which is probably why I refuse to keep my txbks in my bag but carry it in my arms, loudly pronouncing that I am a student *chuckles*.. This is what ppl usually call self-denial?? Lolz.. Anyways..... 23 might sound young to most ppl out there but I jus learned a devastating news the other day that there is this guy in my class that is only 18!!!! 18 doing part-time degree already.. Wats wrong with him man (yes yes green eye monster talking).. But seriously, this 18 yr old individual is stupidly childish.. I mean frm the way he talk and act... Thats the only comfort that comes frm being a much matured "young" adult (^-^)

For 2 days straight, Wed and Thurs, I've met the weirdest ppl and has the stupidest experience.. Lets pray that my life will turn for the better today...

On Wed, for dinner, I went to buy this pack of sweet potato fries at lps.. Of course I was super in a rush for time since I have lesson so I told this aunty, whom I ordered from, to be fast.. And she said okay and insisted that I take a seat.. Then she slowly slowly went abt her usual stuff of frying the fries.. And the time went tick, tick, ticking by and I lost my patience.. When i confronted her, she still insisted that I take a seat!!! I mean "hello aunty, I dont wanna seat, I jus wan my fries and get out of here!!" When it was FINALLY ready, I was delayed by 10 mins and as luck have it, this bunch of tourist with this also caucasian tour guide (i mean sldnt they get Singaporean tour guide or smth??) came by the store and started explaining that Singapore, being a food heaven, actually has sweet potato fries in that animated voice of hers and THE WHOLE GROUP PRATICALLY BLOCKED MY EXIT FROM THE STORE!! So i went excuse me, excuse me and funnily most of them WONT BUDGE their big fat ass.. Wats so interesting abt looking at dry, crinkled fries anyway!! *fumes* So there, another 10 mins gone..

I was again blocked in the train coz it was so jam-packed and this china man refuse to move away from the door despite my animated sighin and excuse moi.. And I have to loudly articulate "Can you please get out of my way!!" before he decides to move an inch for me to squeeze thru.. I tell you, the weirdest thing ppl does jus to get on the train/seats.. As if cannot wait for next train or stand like tat... Needless to say, I arrived late and agitated..

After lesson, Ping, Jieyin and I met this episode with this couple and the woman was cryin and screaming at the top of her voice.. Why they chose to do it at the alley of Kaplan uni is beyond me.. Prob for privacy?? But when all the students are strolling out or loitering ard for a smoke.. Wat kind of privacy can you get?? Haha.. Oh apparently the guy cheated on the girl and the girl found out abt it thru some photographs.. Lol so man.. Wanna cheat also be more discreet mah.. Y go leave photograph/evidence ard?? *Erm I am not directing this msg to you my dearest Ed lolz*

After which Jieyin and me heard this SPG talking to this caucasian man abt panties.. Yes panties and as if that is nt disgusting enuff, she was denying loudly abt how some panty is definitely not hers coz she was apparently having her period and if its hers, it wld have been soaked.. Apparently someone accused some panty belong to her and she is trying to tell this guy (whom i think she is trying to attract) that its nt hers coz its not soaked in blood.. Wat kinda turnon is that?? After we (as in jieyin and me) separated ourselves frm tat disgusting couple for a few mins, they caught up with us and was still talking abt panty!!! This time the conversation went like this:

SPG: the panty is yellow colour with hearts printed on it.. Do you think i will wear something so disgusting?
Guy:.....
SPG: Nope, I wont, i've got taste.. I like to wear silk...
Guy: *utter something i cant rem but he was apparently turn on!!*

I mean after the blood episode, frm the snippets of reply i managed to hear frm the guy, it seems like he was really turn on by the SPG's panty adventure.. Oh (according to jaye's friend) too bad.. U cant have her coz she's having her thing unless (according to me) u dun mind blood all over the place.. Lolz sounds disgusting i know but its still better than hearing all these loudly in the middle of Somerset!!

NESS CITY, Kan. - Deputies said a woman in western Kansas sat on her boyfriend's toilet for two years, and they're investigating whether she was mistreated.

Ness County Sheriff Bryan Whipple said a man called his office last month to report that something was wrong with his girlfriend.

Whipple said it appeared the 35-year-old NessCity woman’s skin had grown around the seat.

She initially refused emergency medical services but was finally convinced by responders and her boyfriend that she needed to be checked out at a hospital.

“We pried the toilet seat off with a pry bar and the seat went with her to the hospital,” Whipple said. “The hospital removed it.”

Whipple said investigators planned to present their report Wednesday to the county attorney, who will determine whether any charges should be filed against the woman's 36-year-old boyfriend.

“She was not glued. She was not tied. She was just physically stuck by her body,” Whipple said. “It is hard to imagine. ... I still have a hard time imagining it myself.”

He told investigators he brought his girlfriend food and water, and asked her every day to come out of the bathroom.

“And her reply would be, ‘Maybe tomorrow,”’ Whipple said. “According to him, she did not want to leave the bathroom.”

The boyfriend called police on Feb. 27 to report that “there was something wrong with his girlfriend,” Whipple said, adding that he never explained why it took him two years to call.

Police found the clothed woman sitting on the toilet, her sweat pants down to her mid-thigh. She was “somewhat disoriented,” and her legs looked like they had atrophied, Whipple said.

“She said that she didn’t need any help, that she was OK and did not want to leave,” he said.

She was taken to a hospital in Wichita, about 150 miles southeast of NessCity. Whipple said she has refused to cooperate with medical providers or law enforcement investigators.

Authorities said they did not know if she was mentally or physically disabled.

Police have declined to release the couple’s names, but the house where authorities say the incident happened is listed in public records as the residence of Kory McFarren. No one answered his home phone number.

The case has been the buzz in NessCity, said James Ellis, a neighbor.

“I don’t think anybody can make any sense out of it,” he said.

Ellis said he had known the woman since she was a child but that he had not seen her for at least six years.

He said she had a tough childhood after her mother died at a young age and apparently was usually kept inside the house as she grew up. At one time the woman worked for a long-term care facility, he said, but he did not know what kind of work she did there.

“It really doesn’t surprise me,” Ellis said of the bathroom incident. “What surprises me is somebody wasn’t called in a bit earlier.”

“Skin can heal and become accustomed to these situations very quickly,” said Aires, the dermatologist. “I’ve seen a case where someone became fused to a piece of white gauze bandage. The bandaged skin was injured and the skin grew into the gauze. And that took only about a week and a half.”

Seriously, I am going crazy bits by bits under Benjamin.. He blows up over the weirdest things, whether it is my fault or not.. I was telling Ping this morning that maybe I am already a nutcase.. =.=''

Haiz, I've got classes to attend, assignments to do, projects to complete, exams to study, proper work to struggle with.. As if THAT IS NOT ENOUGH!!! I still HAVE TO JUGGLE WITH MY BLOODY BOSS'S TEMPERAMENT!!!! Wat the hell..

Give you an example.. The other day Benjamin's mailbox was bursting at it seams... So naturally being the bloody secretary that I bloody am (even though i am not really his secretary! and he admits it but still treat me like one!!!), I went to help him archive his mailbox and BRENNA SAW ME DOING IT.. Than I was SUPER UNLUCKY.. Sharon sent an email later in the day and it BOUNCED!! Bloody hell.. So Benjamin sent me an email very curtly that night saying that I HAVE TO IMMEDIATELY ARCHIVE HIS EMAIL because being the f**king important person he is, he f**king has tons of f**king important email which CANNOT be bounced... As if that is not enough.. He has time to go home and think about it and apparently the more he think about it, the hotter he became.. SO the morning i came in, HE BLEW UP ON ME!!! And I meant seriously blew up on me okay! After which watever things i said to him for the whole morning, he reply me in that "y dun you jus f**king go die" tone.. Like wat the hell!! I was hopping mad i tell you... After which, i tried to go find the root of the problem and realised that because lotus notes has 2 mailbox: SGXMail1 and SGXMail2 and it is suppose to back each other up just in case one fail.. And Benjamin's main mailbox is suppose to be SGXMail2 and funnily he keeps opening SGXMail1.. And even funnier, his Mail1 and Mail2 stop syncing for the WHOLE BLOODY NIGHT (even computer also as tempermental as the owner =.=''), and whatever I delete/archive on his backup mailbox WAS NOT reflected on his main mailbox.. Which means, his main database, no matter what I did to his backup database, will always remain FULL!! So I went to tell him the reason at noon.. And he went "Oh, how i know about that.. Ppl like you keep opening funny database till I dunno which one is my main one anymore".. Haiz.. He doesnt even have the decency to apologise for blowing up on me..

And the thing is.. I was so mad, I complain to Sharon and Brenna who later went to tell Isaiah.. And I heard from Isaiah, even my biggest boss (which is Benjamin's boss), Seck Wai Kwong, NEVER EVER blow up on his staff.. Even if he did talk to them slightly curtly, he will ALWAYS APOLOGISE after that.. Because HE KNOWS THAT IT IS NOT HIS RIGHT TO BLOW UP OR BE RUDE!! I am not his bloody daughter okay!

Obviously, he blew up on me again today.. That's y I am here complaining.. This time over namecards... Haiz...

By the way, I am super stress these few days.. I've got a 1500 words pre-assignment to do, which i have yet to start, and deadline is this coming monday, 10/3. I have a project to complete, another pre-assignment and a learning journal, where deadline is my dearest birthday, 24/3. My exams is coming up on the 4/4 and after which i have another main assignment and another learning journal to do before yet another exam.. Better steer clear of me as I will be cranky till I get my much needed rest and braincells back...

Happy birthday Sharon! Her birthday was yst and we went to this super cosy cafe to celebrate and they serve the world's best Chocolate cake!!! I tell you, the choc cake is simply heaven!! It beats awfully choc, dino, lanas flat down... The moment you put it into your mouth, it melts immediately! And it's soooo chocolatey, you'll never crave for any other chocolate cake but this........

The cafe's called Eden's Cafe, up at Club Street... They have the most wonderful concept where they change their special menu every week and its NOT repeated till 3 months later.. The chef/owner learn his culinary skills himself, and he is jus perfect! He grill the best fish which i can safely say rank at least top five in my entire life (nt like my life is very long lol)! And.....

He has bears in his cafe up for adoption... And this is my personal favourite!!

Isnt it jus SUPER CUTE!!!?? But it is currently auctioning at whooping 450 bucks!!! Of course the money will after which goes to a children fund, but 450 buck!! Haiz... I refuse to let go of it at the end of the lunch.. Bleahz.. Other bears starting price @ 150 bucks:

The chef will do everything else for you.. Wahaha...

and was apparently so inspired by it that he decided to come ask four girls, Sharon, Xiu Ling, WeiWen and myself, whether we will be willing to wait 4 years to see someone and only every 4 years???!!!

My answer was of course NOT! I think its a torturous experience to have to wait to see your love one every 4 yrs.. And between now and then, many many things could have happen.. Why would i want to torture myself this way?? Oh well..

Anyway i was interested in this Irish tradition where "no man will refuse any request of a lady on the leap day".. So i did a lil research on it.. (^-^)

A Little Background History
In reality, it takes the earth a little longer than 365 days to complete it's trip around the sun. It take 5 hours, forty-eight minutes and forty-five longer. This extra day was added to the month of Feb because it was the shortest month in the year proposed by Julius Caesar back in 45 BCE.

So now lets talk about this special day tradition according to the Irish culture.. Lolz...

Yepz yepz its proposal year for the ladies!!! Rofl... Feb 29 is often referred to as "Ladies Day". As according to old tradition, woman are allowed to propose marriage to men throughout the entire Leap Year!!! This tradition can be traced back to an old Irish legend concerning St Patrick and St Bridget in the 5th Century.. To cut the long story short, St Patrick annouced that woman are allowed to propose to man every 4 yrs (the leap yr) as durin those times woman/nuns were never given a chance to propose marriage. To St Patrick surprised, St Bridget actually propose to him after the rule is set and Patrick declined her proposal. Instead he promised to give her a silk gown and a kiss to soften the rejections.. Lolz and so yea this is how the story begins... ^^''

There is also another tradition which states that 29 Feb is also called "Bachelor's Day" where it is the ONLY day out of the entire Leap Year that a woman CANNOT propose to a man.. So its the only day where the man get a break out of romance... Wahaha.. My dear might be happy to know this?? But 29 Feb is going going gone!!!! Bleahz...
